EtherTap is developing a coil-based electromagnetic energy converter. Before we ask anyone to buy, partner or invest, we are putting the design through calibrated, independent, closed-loop testing, and we will publish what we find.
We want households, farms and small businesses to generate more of their own power with equipment that has no fuel line and few moving parts, and we hold ourselves to a simple rule: nothing is claimed until it is measured.
A world where compact, dependable electromagnetic converters sit alongside solar and storage as everyday sources of local power.
Turn a promising bench prototype into a validated, certifiable product, with every claim backed by calibrated data that others can check.
Evidence before marketing. Independent testing before funding. Open reporting of results, including the unwelcome ones.
The EtherTap prototype arranges electromagnetic coils around a magnetic structure with a small air gap (4 mm in the first build). The aim is to convert electrical input into usable DC output as efficiently as possible, and to find out how far efficiency can be pushed.
Like every energy converter, it is bound by conservation of energy. Our research question is practical: how efficient can this architecture get, and does it offer cost, size or reliability advantages over existing options?
A frank summary, because investors, distributors and customers deserve one.
A five-coil bench unit with a 4 mm air gap was assembled, and a short series of readings was recorded.
Development slowed. Records, concepts and commercial ideas were gathered in one place.
We reviewed every document and measurement to separate what is demonstrated from what is hoped for.
A closed-loop test programme with calibrated instruments and control rigs, designed so the result is believable whichever way it falls.
Funding, partnerships and customer software are released stage by stage, only as each validation gate is passed.
The 2021 bench log reported output-to-input ratios of roughly 3.7–3.9x. That ratio was calculated from a simplified input reading and a fixed output voltage, so it does not demonstrate more energy out than in, and we do not present it as proof. Resolving this properly, with full power analysis and an independent party, is exactly what Phase 0 is for.
Naming the hard parts is how we plan around them.
Any new converter must show, with rigorous measurement, what it delivers per unit of input. Extraordinary claims need independent confirmation.
True power needs voltage and current captured together over time, with calibrated meters and a closed loop that includes every energy source.
Moving from a bench unit to something repeatable means thermal design, materials sourcing and quality control.
Electrical safety, EMC and market approvals (such as CE) are required before any retail or wholesale sale.
Clear ownership of the design and a clean corporate entity are prerequisites for serious partners and investors.
Capital is staged against evidence, which protects backers and keeps the programme honest.
If validation succeeds, these are the segments we would approach first. Market sizing will be added with sourced figures once the technical case is established.
Cabins, farms, telecom sites and islands that pay a premium for dependable local power.
Backup and supplementary power paired with solar and batteries.
Shops, workshops and light industry with high energy costs or unreliable supply.
Electrical wholesalers and installers who can bring certified units to market.
Each stage unlocks only when the previous gate has been passed on evidence.
Closed-loop tests, calibrated instruments, control rigs and an independent lab review.
Repeatable prototype, safety design and documented performance envelope.
Pilot units, regulatory testing and first channel partners.
Manufacturing partnerships, retail and wholesale launch, customer app.
No. EtherTap makes no claim of creating energy. We are testing the efficiency and practicality of an electromagnetic converter design, and conclusions will follow the measurements.
Not yet. No product is on sale and no deposits are accepted until the design has passed independent validation and the required safety certification.
Test protocols, instrument details and summary results will be published here, with raw data available to registered partners and investors.
We will say so, and decide openly whether to redesign or stop. Staged funding exists precisely to limit risk in that case.
No. Nothing on this site is an offer or solicitation to invest. Any investment discussion happens separately, under appropriate legal documentation.
Whether you are a retail buyer, wholesaler, researcher or investor, leave your details and we will write back with the next update.
